Norman Cook has said that he won't be recording under the Fatboy Slim moniker any more.

The DJ would not be drawn on why he had come to that decision, but NME.com reports that he plans to make music under the name Brighton Port Authority in future.

Cook told The Sun: "Yes, I am ditching the Fatboy Slim name, but I can't tell you the new one. I'm going to take the Fifth Amendment on that question and not say because I'll get myself into trouble."

Irish fans can say goodbye to the Fatboy Slim name at Portrush Strand on June 17th.
