The Little Mixer will be taking time off from her singing duties for the foreseeable future, citing medical reasons.

Jesy Nelson, one-fourth of former 'X-Factor' winners Little Mix, is taking some time off for herself.

The news comes just weeks after the band's sixth album 'Confetti' was released. The group also hosted their new reality show 'The Search', which wrapped up earlier this month.

Previous to the show's live final on Saturday, November 7, Nelson had pulled out due to feeling unwell. She also didn't appear with the group for hosting of the MTV Europe Music Awards on November 8.

According to a statement from Little Mix PR Simon Jones: "Jesy is having extended time off from Little Mix for private medical reasons. We will not be issuing any further comment currently and ask media to please respect her privacy at this time."

Nelson previously received praise for her 2019 BBC documentary 'Odd One Out', where she spoke openly about needing to seek help due to online trolls sending her abuse.

Here are some of the heartwarming words of encouragement that fans online have been sending to Jesy and her bandmates.
