Fans, friends and colleagues of David Bowie pay tribute to him on his first anniversary

Fans, friends and colleagues of David Bowie have been sharing tributes to him today, the first anniversary of his death.

Bowie's wife Iman kicked off the #BowieForever hashtag with an illustration of him as a boy on Sunday, and many have been following suit under the #RIPDavidBowie hashtag on social media - including Pet Shop Boys, Brian Eno and more.

His son Duncan Jones didn't make reference to the anniversary, although he tweeted on his birthday on January 8th - but he did mention that his son Stenton was 6 months old - which is perhaps the best tribute:
