A limited number of extra tickets to One Direction's series of Croke Park gigs this summer will be made available for public consumption from 9am this Friday 11th April.

The gigs will take place on 23rd, 24th and 25th May during which time the decibel level in Croke Park and its surrounding areas will likely rival anything that the famous stadium has ever hosted in the past.

Australian pop rock act 5 Seconds of Summer will play support for the gigs. Hopefully their name won't tempt fate too much and turn the Croker gigs into miserable, rainy affair as has happened in the past.

Tickets are priced from €59.50 including booking fee, while a limited number of tickets with slight viewing restrictions priced at €49.65 including booking fee will also go on sale this Friday.

Meanwhile, promoters MCD have also issued a series of warnings ahead of the gig in the interest of public safety.

These include:

Under 14's are NOT allowed on the pitch either accompanied or unaccompanied.
Under 16's MUST be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian.
Guardian must remain with under 16’s and take full responsibility for them throughout the duration of the event.
