Erol Alkan has been announced as special guest for Justice at the upcoming Live at the Marquee in Cork on June 7th.
Recently named DJ of the Year by Mixmag, Alkan has previously played support to Madonna which led on to her using his DJ set as an intro tape to her subsequent world tour, Erol has also given muscle to another icon, creating the bootleg of ‘Blue Monday’ and ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ that Kylie performed at the Brits.
Alkan has since found another outlet for his desire to share his favourite music via the radio station BBC 6 Music, where his succession of 6 Mixes initiated listeners into all kinds of brilliant music, from Factory Floor and ZZT to Arthur Russell and Ariel Pink.
