Having been forced to postponel the opening gig of their 'World Be Gone' tour at Dublin's Olympia Theatre last night due to illness, Erasure have unfortunately had to do the same for tonight and tomorrow night's gigs.
The synthpop duo were due to play three sold-out nights at the venue, but on 'doctors' advice', all three have now been postponed to a later date.
The venue and promoters MCD gave the update on Twitter moments ago:

Unfortunately, due to illness and on Doctor’s advice, tonight & tomorrow night's sold out concerts have been postponed. This follows the postponement of the bands concert last night.

Tickets for all original dates will remain valid for the rescheduled dates which will be confirmed within the next 48hrs.

The band also apologised to fans on their own Twitter account, linking to a statement on their website that explained singer Andy Bell has been 'fighting an infection' and had been advised by a throat specialist to 'rest his voice for a little longer'.
