After postponing its release last month, EMI's all Irish compilation 'The New Breed' was finally released today. The double album features some of the finest musicians our little isle has to offer including Two Door Cinema Club, Fred, Mick Flannery, Cathy Davey, Roisin Murphy and RSAG.
The original release date of April 16th was initially designed to coincide with Record Store Day, and EMI are still urging punters to go and support their local record shop, as the album is only available as a physical release.
If you're around Dublin City Centre this evening (Friday May 14th), pop into Tower Records on Wicklow St around 5pm, where contributing artists Ham Sandwich, The Minutes, The Ambience Affair and Dark Room Notes will be helping to launch the album in style with some live music.
