They have collaborated several times in the past, so Ed Sheeran and Eminem together on stage is not quite as strange as it may sound.
Nevertheless, the rapper shocked fans attending Sheeran's gig at Ford Field in Detroit on Saturday night when he appeared on stage to perform two of his own songs in his hometown.
After saying to the stadium crowd "I was wondering if I could play you a cover of an Eminem song tonight," he began playing the opening verse of 'Lose Yourself' before the rapper joined him on stage, much to the crowd's delight.
They also played 'Stan', with Sheeran singing Dido's part.
