If we've learned one thing about Eminem over the years, it's that there are no sacred cows in his lyric book.
Everyone and everything has been game for mocking in the rapper's eyes over the last twenty years or more - but a song on his latest album has angered many people, who claim it goes too far.
As you may know, he surprise-released 'Music to Be Murdered By' this morning, but the track 'Unaccomodating' makes a joke about the Manchester Arena attacks. 22 people were killed by a suicide bomber as they left an Ariana Grande concert in May 2017.
The lyric goes: "I’m contemplating yelling ‘Bombs away’ on the game/Like I’m outside of an Ariana Grande concert waiting,” and many fans have taken to social media to denounce the rapper's alleged bad taste.
eminem literally just made a joke about the manchester bombing at ariana grande’s concert... that is just so fucking sick, y’all better not give this man any attention. people literally lost their lives, and you’re going to release music and try to make a profit off of them? pic.twitter.com/mKJo06RL9p

However, others have pointed out that Eminem has made his name making controversial statements in his music, and that he also helped to raise money for victims after the attack.
So they’ve been making and supporting WWIII jokes since the year started but now want to cancel Eminem for a line about Manchester eh?
