Emeli Sande has announced details of a show at The Olympia Theatre on Sunday November 4th in aid of Childline, an organisation which receives no government funding and relies solely on the generosity of public giving.

2012 is proving to be a busy year for Sandé. Confirmed as the winner of the prestigious Brits Critic’s Choice Award, the Aberdonian singer –songwriter released the stunning single, ‘Next To Me’, from her hugely anticipated debut album ‘Our Version of Events’ in February and, prior to that, collaborated with Professor Green on his chart-topping single 'Read All About It'.

Ashley Balbirnie, Chief Executive, ISPCC "We are hugely grateful for the support of Emeli Sande, putting on this performance in aid of Childline. ISPCC's Childline service is an essential support to young people in Ireland and last year we received over 800,000 calls. Sadly, due to lack of funding and resources, we were unable to answer over a third of these calls, meaning hundreds of children's voices went unheard everyday; a very worrying statistic. The proceeds which we hope will be raised from Emeli's gig will make a huge difference to Childline as we endeavour to listen to every child who bravely reaches out for support."

Tickets priced from €27.90 inclusive of booking fee go on sale next Friday, June 22nd at 9am
