Elvis Costello is set to bring his latest album, 'Secret, Profane & Sugarcane', to Dublin for one night this summer.

The album was recorded in Nashville with producer T Bone Burnett and has more of a country flavour than most of Costello's previous material.

The singer recently cancelled two concerts in Israel, joining a number of musical acts who are boycotting the country for political reasons. He said it was 'a matter of instinct and conscience'.

Elvis Costello and his band The Sugarcanes will play Vicar St on July 1st. Tickets are priced €55 and go on sale next Tuesday May 25th at 9am.
