We're sure many of you wouldn't object to spending an evening in the company of Elvis Costello and now you'll have your chance, as he has announced details of an intimate 'An Evening with Elvis Costello' gig in Dublin's Bord Gais Energy Theatre.
Costello will play the Ringsend venue on Thursday October 16th next and, speaking of what to expect in the performance, Costello said: "this show may contain any song I've written, some you will know already, some are the hits of tomorrow."
Citizens Voice hailed Costello's recent shows, saying: " [Costello] then took the audience on a musical journey, with stops at deep cuts and hits from a set list crafted on the spot."
Tickets for the gig will go on sale from usual outlets nationwide at 9am on Friday 21st February.
