That Donald Trump, eh? Not only has he kicked off the unholiest political sh*tshow of all time by winning the US presidential election, but he's now inadvertantly interfering in the album release dates of some of the world's most popular musicians.

Okay, so that might be a slight exaggeration - but it is true that Ed Sheeran had originally planned to release his new album 'Divide' in November.

He told Zane Lowe last night: "The plan was to come in September and then the album was meant to come in November, but the week the album was coming out was the week the presidential elections that was just a sh*t storm of media."

He added: 'And I was like, obviously, if I come out with a record then no one’s gonna care - and then the week after, Bruno [Mars] came out; the week after [that], The Weeknd came out, and I was like….’

Instead, fans will have to wait that little bit longer, as 'Divide' will be released on March 3rd.
