A compilation with enormous star power is being released by Global Music Effort to raise money for victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
Entitled simply 'Songs for Japan', the 38 track collection features classics like John Lennon's 'Imagine', U2's 'Walk On' and R.E.M.'s 'Man On The Moon' as well as current hits like Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' and Katy Perry's 'Firework'. Indeed, this many songs of such a high calibre are rarely, if ever, seen together on a single compilation due to the huge cost of licensing them. It has only been made possible by the generosity and compassion of the artists and their record labels.
