Dublin experimental musician Laura Sheeran is asking fans to help her get her debut album out on shelves. The double album "Lust of Pig and the Fresh Blood" has been in development for almost 4 years now and is ready for final mixing, mastering and pressing, but before that can happen Sheeran needs to raise some much needed funds, and is attempting to do so via pledgemusic.com.

Laura explains that "While I contribute the main vocals, as well as ukulele, bowed saw, flute, programming and beats – the usual suspects for anyone who’s seen my live performances – I have been helped by some amazing musicians who have been a source of inspiration and who I am proud to call friends. Among these are Cora Venus Lunny (violin, viola), Kate Ellis (cello), Michael Begg (electronica), and Clodagh Simonds (backing vocals), all of whom I met while working as part of Fovea Hex, a collective group that have produced some really great music"

If you want to help this album to become a reality, pledge €10 to the cause and not only will you receive the project download and physical copy of the album, but you'll also get access to exclusive pledger-only updates.

All going to plan "Lust of Pig and the Fresh Blood" is expected to be released in September. She's 42% of the way there so fingers crossed. It will follow Laura's debut EP, 'Music For The Deep Woods', which you can download for free from www.thisisopenmusic.com.
