The big deals continue to roll in for Irish musicians, as Dubliner Tara Lee is the latest to sign on the dotted line with a major label.
Following our new yesterday that Little Hours had signed to RCA Records - and Gavin James's recent deal with Capitol Records - Lee has signed a global publishing deal with BMG Chrysalis/Why Not Publishing.
Lee, who is also an actress and has appeared most recently in BBC series The Fall, signed the deal when she was in Los Angeles yesterday to perform at MUSEXPO - an international music and media conference.
“I am thrilled to be working with all of the BMG Chrysalis & Why Not Songs creative team and look forward to the next stage of my career," she said, while her management team Dave Reid and Edison Waters also expressed their delight, saying that they would "strive to help Tara realise her undoubted potential in international markets."
