If you happened to be in Dublin yesterday afternoon, you may have wondered what on earth was going on as hundreds of cyclists formed a very loud convoy that moved around the city centre.

It was all down to Dom Whiting - the English man known for bringing his 'Drum & Bass on the Bike' events to different cities.

Whiting led an enormous crowd of cyclists through the city's streets as he played drum & bass tunes from decks installed on his own specially-adapted bike.

Other cargo bikes loaded with speakers were also dispersed throughout the crowd, ensuring that everyone could hear the music clearly as they peddled.

The whole thing was free, the weather cooperated and it was a gloriously feel-good event, by all accounts.
