The legal battle between Dr. Luke and Kesha that was initiated back in 2014 continues to take ugly twists and turns.
Following on from last week's court filing that drew Lady Gaga into the case - where he claimed that Kesha sent Gaga a text claiming that he had raped her and another recording artist - the latest development has seen the producer accuse Kesha of owing him a large sum in royalties.
Kesha, in turn, had accused Dr. Luke of scuppering her career and blocking her new album from being made, as revenge for blackening his name with the allegations.
However, Dr. Luke - real name Lukasz Gottwald - says that he has paid Kesha all royalties owed to her from their collaborations, and $650,000 in December 2016 alone, whereas she has not done the same. In fact, he claims, she owes him $1.3 million in royalties from live performances.
In any case, it doesn't look like this complicated case is going to be resolved anytime soon.
