Owen Pallet, the man known as Final Fantasy, has signed to independent record label Domino, in order to release his newest album. Pallet, who has arranged strings for the Arcade Fire and The Rumble Strips, has moved to the popular indie label after two albums with Canadian music collective Blocks Recording Club.

The third album the Canadian loop-happy multi-instrumentalist is to be called 'Heartland', and is due for release at the beginning of 2010. The news comes shortly after an announcement that Pallet is to tour the States with North Carolina folk rockers The Mountain Goats in November.
