St. Mary’s Cathedral in will be the place to be in Limerick City on New Year’s Eve, where the centuries old building will play host to the most raucous of New Year's celebrations by playing host to some of Ireland's top music acts. You can get your paws on tickets via the button below.

Confirmed to take part in the celebrations this year are former Cranberry Dolores O'Riordan (who will perform alongside the Irish Chamber Orchestra), as well as The Coronas, The Strypes, Maverick Sabre, SOAK and hometown heroes Leading Armies. These acts will celebrate not only the end of 2013 and our first steps into next year, but also Limerick's status as City of Culture 2014.

As well as the above (ticketed) event, there will also be a series of free events in Limerick City on New Year's Eve including NYE Sky, a spectacular video-mapping storytelling projection on to Limerick's medieval castle, as part of the NYE Pageant. This will take place at 8pm in the medieval quarter and is a free event.

As for the rest of the Pageant's events, you can find out for yourself by turning up to the Milk Market for 5.30pm.

The music will then kick off at 8.30pm and we highly recommend you get your hands on tickets in advance as we expect this to sell out pretty darn quickly!
