Transport For London, the government body responsible for most of the British capital's public transport system, have created a range of souvenir mugs that feature songs lyrics about the city printed on the side. Pete Doherty and Madness frontman Suggs are among the musicians to have their lyrics used in the first batch of 12 mugs, which are being made in association with EMI Music Publishing.

Pete Doherty's solo track 'Albion' as well as one of his Libertines numbers, 'The Boy Looked at Johnny' have been chosen for the collection, while Suggs' 'Camden Town' seems like an obvious choice.

60s rockers The Small Faces contribute their classic 'Itchycoo Park', and there'll also be a mug with lyrics from Eddy Grant's 80s electropop hit 'Electric Avenue', and XTC's 1980 track 'Towers of London'.

These collector mugs are available from EMI's online store, priced £7.50 each.
