There are loads of brand new and exciting festivals "emerging" this summer on the island of Ireland.

Coming to Belfast on August 27 and 28 is EMERGE. The brand new annual two day multi-stage outdoor festival is taking place for the first time this year.

EMERGE will be the largest event of its kind in Ireland, with capacity for 20,000 attendees per day.

Headliners Eric Prydz, Disclosure, Peggy Gou & Patrick Topping return to Belfast alongside a huge line-up of globally recognised electronic acts. Alongside them are Kettama, Mall Grab, Michael Bibi, DJ Seinfeld, Dusky, Special Request, Fjaak, Rebekah and many more.

Co-Promoter and Director Alan Simms commented:

"Belfast is one of the most fertile and dynamic scenes of its kind in the UK or Ireland. We're lucky to have some of the world's biggest names in dance music on our inaugural line-up of EMERGE. Most of whom we've been working with since their very first club shows in the country."

EMERGE Music Festival goes on general sale on Tuesday 29th March at 9am from Ticketmaster.ie. Day tickets, weekend tickets and weekend ticket deposit plans available.
