Details of the plane crash that Travis Barker and Adam Goldstein survived at the weekend have emerged.

Local police have said that the pair, who were on fire at the time, slid down a wing at the side of the plane to escape the burning wreckage. An eyewitness reports seeing the men, both dressed in shorts, 'pacing the side of the road' and attempting to 'tackle' each other in order to extinguish the flames. They are both recovering from second- and third-degree burns in hospital, and are expected to make a full recovery.

Four other people travelling on the plane - pilot Sarah Lemmon (31), co-pilot James Bland (52) and Barker's assistant and bodyguard Chris Baker (29) and Charles Still (25) all died in the accident, from burn, smoke and impact-related complications. It's thought that one of the plane's wheels blew out, and an attempted abortion of the take-off procedure went awry.
