Since opening its doors in August The Workman's Club on Wellington Quay has fast become one of the best venues in Dublin to catch up and coming Irish bands. This week, two more bands have announced gigs at the venue for the coming weeks.

On Tuesday it was announced that Our Little Secrets will play The Workman's Club on November 20th, that's next Saturday. The band, fronted by Rhob Cunningham will be joined by special guests (their album features Lisa Hannigan, Cathy Davey and Jenny Lindfors so you never know who that might be), and supported by comedian Maeve Higgins. Tickets are priced €10.

Today, meanwhile, Dark Room Notes announce a December date for the same venue. The Choice Music Prize nominated electro-pop outfit will play on Wednesday December 22nd. Expect to hear hits 'Love Like Nicotine' and 'Let's Light Fires' as well as load more great tunes. Tickets priced €10 go on sale from ticketmaster next Wednesday November 17th at 9am, though we expect it'd be safe enough to pay on the door.
