The fallout from the not-even-officially-announced-yet Smashing Pumpkins reunion continues to rumble on.

A quick recap: many fans were left puzzled by bassist D'Arcy Wretzy's apparent omission from the reunion of band's 'classic' line-up, which is rumoured to be announced tomorrow.

Wretzky then gave an interview with a website saying that frontman Billy Corgan had initially invited her to take part, but then rescinded the offer for no apparent reason.

In response, the band then released a statement saying that "Despite reports, Ms. Wretzky has repeatedly been invited out to play with the group, participate in demo sessions, or at the very least, meet face-to-face... In each and every instance she always deferred.”

Now, however, Wretzky has shared a series of text messages that she received from Corgan that state that this is not the case...
