Damon Albarn will release a solo album this coming May through Parlophone records. The album, titled Dr Dee, is "inspired by the life of John Dee, mathematician, polymath and advisor to Elizabeth I" and is said to be comprised heavily of "strange pastoral folk", according to thefourohfive.com.
The album will hit the shelves on May 7th.
