All Ireland Talent Show and Must Be The Music star Daithi O Dronai is among the acts set to perform at a UNICEF fundraiser in The Turk's Head next Friday November 26th.
Organised by postgraduate student Michelle Troy, the event will present live music, fundraising opportunities and create further awareness for the work UNICEF do fighting for child survival in over 150 countries across the world, providing healthcare, nutrition and education to these children.
Themed 'Trad With A Twist', as well as Daithi, the line up also features Siobhan Peoples, a group of trad players from Co. Clare while a final live band has yet to be announced. There will also be some unknown DJs towards the end of the night.
The event aims to raise some much needed fund for a very deserving cause while also giving exposure to these up and coming acts and mixing traditional and contemporary Irish music.
