Tickets for one of the biggest gigs of summer 2017 - Coldplay at Croke Park - went on sale this morning at 9am, and by just after 9.30am it appeared that it was completely sold out.

Of course, for every person who was delighted to have bagged a ticket to see Chris Martin and co. play their first Irish gig in 6 years on July 8th, there was someone left disappointed - and Twitter was a sea of emotions this morning:

Many people are calling for a second date to be added after their Cardiff gig sold out equally fast this morning and had an extra date added immediately. It seems that the band have a gap of a few days before their next gig on July 11th, so it might yet happen... stay tuned.
