Coldplay are to release the first new track from their upcoming fifth album this Friday June 3rd. Titled 'Every Teardrop is a Waterfall' the track will be available digitally from 12pm that day and will also be streaming on www.coldplay.com.
The announcement came with the following message from the band's Will Champion:
Dear friends
We're about to play a bunch of summer festivals so it's as good a time as any to put out a new song.
'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall' will be available digitally on Friday 3rd June at 12pm (BST), except in the UK where it'll come out on the stroke of midnight between Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June.
We'll also stream it here on Friday and give it a run out at Rock Im Park.

The new album is still untitled, but Colplay have posted this short album teaser on YouTube, although it doesn't give much away.
