Dublin experimental post-rock types Cloud Castle Lake are teaming up with Trinity College Orchestra for a unique live performance next week.
While Cloud Castle Lake create some of the most innovative music to come out of Dublin, Trinity College Orchestra are always up for a challenge, having previously taken on the music of Radiohead and Daft Punk.
The collaboration is happening as part of the third instalment of Pod and Heineken Music's Future Bright series and will take place in Crawdaddy next Thursday March 31st. The regular event, which takes place on the last Thursday of every month, allows acts to curate their own night and basically do with it what they will.
The band have roped in some visual artists for the occasion and will be supported on the night by Katie Kim, who recently featured on Halves Choice Music Prize nominated album 'It Goes, It Goes (Forever & Ever)' and has just unveiled two cracking new tunes from her upcoming second record which is expected this summer.
Admission is just €5.
