There's no getting away from it anymore; now that the Toy Show has come and gone, tis officially the season.

That means that you'll need something to soundtrack the next month or so with all your festive favourites - and if you're looking for something that's not a Spotify playlist and with an actual human interacting with listeners, that's where Christmas FM comes in.

Now in its 15th year, the Irish Christmas radio station - which is broadcasting from the Clayton Hotel in Liffey Valley - is back on air now, and this year will be raising money for children’s charities Barnardos, Barretstown, Make-A-Wish Ireland and The Community Foundation for Ireland through the station's new 'Magic of Christmas' initiative. The initiative aims to raise €1 million for children's charities over the next three years.

You can expect the usual round the clock Christmas tunes - the classics as well as newer songs - while the presenters (all volunteers) "will be sprinkling lots of festive cheer and keeping the spirits of the nation merry and bright as we embark on the big countdown to Christmas Day."

How to listen? You can tune in online on ChristmasFM.com, via the station's apps for Android and iPhone, or via the FM frequencies below:
