Following the nominations for this year's Choice Music Prize last month, the announcement of which nominees will perform at the ceremony has finally been made.

Six of the ten shortlised artists have confirmed that they will play at Vicar St event on March 4th. Fight Like Apes, Mick Flannery, Halfset, Jape, Messiah J & The Expert and RSAG are available to perform, while fellow Album Of The Year nominees Lisa Hannigan, Oppenheimer and The Script have prior touring commitments and David Holmes, who predominantly works as a DJ, does not play live gigs.

The show will be presented by Today FM's Alison Curtis and will feature special video footage courtesy of Muzu.TV. Tickets are priced €27 from ticketmaster and usual outlets.

Several of the nominees are also up for Meteor Music Awards, including Corkonian Mick Flannery who's been nominated for Best Irish Male. YouTube footage of his performance of Safety Rope from December's sold out Cork Opera House gig can be seen here.
