Cher has been very vocal about being snubbed by the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame in the past, so it'll be very interesting to see how this pans out.
The iconic singer has been named as one of the inductees of this year's Hall of Fame ceremony, despite saying just a few months ago that "You know what? I wouldn’t be in it now if they gave me a million dollars… They can just go you-know-what themselves" after being snubbed for so many years.
The 77-year-old will be inducted - unless she refuses the honour, of course - alongside Mary J. Blige, A Tribe Called Quest, Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool & the Gang and Dave Matthews Band.
The list was revealed yesterday, while other inductees include Dionne Warwick, Norman Whitfield, Alexis Korner, John Mayall, MC5, Suzanne de Passe, and Big Mama Thornton.
Jimmy Buffet will also be recognised for his 'musical excellence' at the event, which is set to take place on October 19th.
Whether Cher turns up or tells them where to go, is another story as the legendary musician has not commented publicly...
