She is one of the most celebrated and most famous musicians of all time, achieving countless accolades over the course of her lengthy career - but it seems that Cher has a bee in her bonnet about one specific thing: being blanked by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
While you wouldn't necessarily classify the 77-year-old icon as a rock musician, that didn't stop the Hall of Fame from inducting Dolly Parton last year.
Cher slammed the organisation while she was on The Kelly Clarkson Show promoting her new Christmas album. When Clarkson pointed out that she had remarkably scored number ones across seven decades, Cher noted how only the Rolling Stones had matched that achievement. "It took four of them to be one of me," she said. "And I’m not in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.”
She added: "You know what? I wouldn’t be in it now if they gave me a million dollars… They can just go you-know-what themselves."
She concluded by pointing out how her 1998 single 'Believe', the first song to use AutoTune in such a prolific way, had "changed music forever."
You have to admit, she has a point...
