Having just released the latest Charlatans record 'Who We Touch', frontman Tim Burgess is already hard at work on a new solo album.

Speaking to the Daily Star he said, "I’m doing something with Ladyhawke and the guys from My Bloody Valentine ... There will be some other surprises too. It will be eclectic."

Burgess did not reveal when he thought the album might be released.

The Charlatans are currently touring their new album with a replacement drummer filling in for Jon Brookes who was recently diagnosed with a brain tumour and is undergoing treatment.
