Changes have been made to the Dysart Festival in Kilkenny, due to take place next weekend.
As flagged by State, several gigs due to take place during the festival have been cancelled, with organisers citing the 'monsoon-like' weather over the past few days as the main reason. According to Kilkennymusic.com, the grounds of the festival site have been 'destroyed' and one stage is sinking.
As a result, the planned headline sets by Jools Holland and Katherine Jenkins have been pulled.
Other bands will be accomodated in venues around Kilkenny, such as The Blind Boys of Alabama and John Martyn - although organisers have their work cut out for them, with the Kilkenny Arts Festival kicking off on the same weekend.
If you have a ticket for the festival and want to claim a refund, you'll be able to do so after the festival has taken place. Otherwise, your ticket will enable you to see the acts in the alternative venues they'll be housed in. Details of these relocations will be announced shortly.
