The venue for Kraftwerk's forthcoming Irish gig this Saturday (September 13th) has been changed.

The gig was supposed to take place in the surrounds of the Luggala Estate in Co. Wicklow, but has now been moved to a tent in the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham, due to adverse weather conditions.

The river at Lough Dan on the Luggala Estate burst its banks at the weekend, making it impossible to build the site, according to promoter John Reynolds.

"I am personally deeply disappointed that this event can not take place on the Luggala Estate which is one of the most awe inspiring and breathtaking locations in Ireland. However due to the unprecedented rainfall and the nature of the site being a natural valley, the subsequent water logging conditions, have made it impossible to prepare Luggala for a concert for the general public," he said.

Ticket-holders will be able to claim a €20 refund from the price of their ticket at the new venue on the day of the show, to compensate for the bus transfer to Luggala which was originally included in the price. People who do not wish to attend the show at RHK can also claim a full refund.

Door times and line-up remains the same - open at 3pm, close at 11.30pm, and theatre collective Lucient Dossier have now also been added to the bill.
