New Dublin outfit Cars Love Girls are set to make their Crawdaddy debut next Wednesday July 20th. The duo, Bres and Orla, had worked together for many years in Republic of Loose and had a hand in some of the band’s most successful albums, taking in tours across Europe and a support slot to U2 in Croke Park in the process. Their latest project – Cars Love Girls – is steeped in their shared love of retro R’n’B with nods in the direction of Prince, Hall & Oates and Steely Dan. The resultant album is called Skip School.

Cars Love Girls played Crawdaddy on 20th July at 8pm, tickets will set you back a modest €5.
