Seeing as how OnlyFans has become ubiquitous in the sex worker community and how Cardi B was herself a sex worker, this feels it's been a long time coming.

The 'WAP' singer announced yesterday that she's set up an OnlyFans account, with the content so far being behind-the-scenes content and the like. Per an official release, the OnlyFans account will "address ongoing rumors, share glimpses into her personal life, connect closer with her fans, and much more."

The online service has become popular in the sex worker community, especially since the pandemic has effectively collapsed the sex worker industry.

Cardi B's latest single, 'WAP', has shot to the top of the charts since it landed online last week, landing right at the top of the US Spotify Charts in a day. The song has, of course, garnered huge controversy for its provocative lyrics and content, but to be fair, that's to be expected.

However, the song has become viral and even has garnered some unusual fans - including our very own Hozier, who was sighted listening to the song via Spotify earlier this week.
