Indie supergroup Mongrel have cancelled all of their forthcoming live dates.

The band, comprised of Jon McClure and Joe Moskow (Reverend and the Makers), Andy Nicholson (ex-Arctic Monkey), Matt Helders (current Arctic Monkey) and Drew McConnell (Babyshambles), as well as rapper Lowkey, blame scheduling conflicts for the cancellations.

McClure said: "The thing that makes this project so amazing is also the thing that at this moment and time is preventing us from making these shows happen. The people involved in this project are some of my best friends, they are also in some of the busiest bands in this country. Including myself."

They were due to play Dublin's Academy on November 11th, as well as several dates in the UK - but will still release their debut album 'Better Than Heavy' next month.
