Do you fancy yourself as the next big thing in Irish music? Well you could very well be in with a chance of recording with renowned music producer Rob Kirwan next month thanks to Budweiser's Future Sounds of Irish Music.

10 unsigned acts will get to spend a day in a purpose built recording studio in Dublin under the guidance of acclaimed producer Rob Kirwan (U2, Delorentos, PJ Harvey) who will produce, mix and master one track from each act.

Not only that, each of the ten acts will receive a professionally shot band photoshoot and video and will perform a live acoustic set on Phantom FM.

Sounds like a pretty sweet gig, no? All you have to do to apply (remember: you must be unsigned!) is register on the Budweiser Facebook page between 10th October and 7th November. Future Sounds project partners Hot Press and Phantom FM, along with Rob Kirwan, will listen to all the submitted tracks and then choose a shortlist of ten artists.

Speaking of the project, Kirwan said: "The Budweiser Future Sounds of Irish Music project is a great opportunity for Irish unsigned acts to take a step forward, produce a great track and get noticed. Many artists don't know to make a really good recording so I want to take the time to listen to their music, help unlock their sound and ensure the best possible track is available on the day.

A former pharmacy on George's Street in Dublin City Centre will be converted into a state of the art custom built recording studio - the Future Sounds Recording Studio - where the winning artists will record their tracks between the 18th and 29th of November.

As well as the above, there'll be a series of free music seminars and discussions with industry experts in the Bud Lounge (located in the studio) over the same two week period. You can find out more from the Budweiser Facebook page.
