Next year's Brit Awards looks like being one hell of a shindig. With both Arctic Monkeys and Katy Perry already announced as performing on the night, they'll now be joined by the high profile trio of Bruno Mars, Bastille and Rudimental.

The event will take place on February 19th at the O2 Arena in London and you'll be able to catch the broadcast live on ITV. Last year's viewership figures, incidentally, were an astonishing 7.1 million - the highest numbers the Brits have pulled in a decade.

Host-for-hire James Corden will once again preside over the ceremony - his last. Speaking of his announcement of being the host, Corden said: "I really love the Brits. I'm such a fan. I'll miss not doing it after this one, but I fully intend to enjoy every second Brits 2014."

We will bring you full details of the nominees when they're revealed on January 9th.
