The Boss is back!

Bruce Springsteen returns to Dublin for the first time since 2016 for a run of three gigs at the RDS this week.

He’ll play the outdoor venue on Friday 5th, Sunday 7th & Tuesday 9th May with The E Street Band.

If you’re heading along, here’s everything you need to know.

TICKETS

Friday 5th and Sunday 7th are sold out. At time of writing, Ticketmaster was offering limited availability for Tuesday 9th.

If you have a ticket, make sure to double check that you are attending on the correct day! And remember your ticket/s reside in your Ticketmaster account; your phone is your digital ticket.  Make sure your phone is fully charged and the brightness is set to maximum to allow for quick scanning.

Promoters have also issued a warning to beware of bogus ticket sellers and tour operators, urging fans to NOT buy tickets from unofficial sources, including websites.

Gates open: 5pm

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band: 7pm

There is no support and queuing before gates open is not permitted as it's a residential area.

BUS

If travelling by Dublin Bus to the event, it is strongly advised that you get off at the following Bus Stops:

415 Pembroke Road opposite Embassy of United States of America (routes serving this stop are 120, 18, 4, 7 and 7a)

DART

The DART service operates from the City Centre to Ballsbridge. Lansdowne Station and Sandymount Station are approximately a 5 minute walk from the RDS.

WEATHER

According to Yr.no, Friday evening is looking like a mixture of sun and cloud with temps of 15c; Sunday evening is looking cloudy with temps of 13c, and Tuesday is looking showery with temps of 12c.

However, we all know that a forecast this far out can change - so check in on the day and prepare for all eventualities with Irish weather.

SAFETY

As per usual at gigs, backpacks or large handbags are forbidden. If you must bring a bag, it needs to be smaller than A4 size and there is no cloakroom at the RDS.

• This is an outdoor event and concert will take place rain or shine. Please check weather conditions and dress appropriately, but remember no umbrellas.

• Glass or cans, umbrellas, alcohol, garden furniture, selfie sticks, flares will not be permitted.

*No professional cameras or cameras with a detachable lens, video cameras & audio recording devices, iPads or GoPros.

• Obey the stewards and Gardaí and instructions given over the public address for your own safety.

• The Promoter deems that large outdoor concerts are not a suitable environments for all children under 5 years old unless otherwise stated. We have no measures in place to facilitate babies and small children on site.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

• Under 14s are NOT allowed on the pitch either accompanied or unaccompanied.

• All Under 16s attending the concert MUST be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian.

• Guardians must remain with under 16’s and take full responsibility for them throughout the event.
