By all accounts, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's gigs at Dublin's RDS have been extremely entertaining so far.

The Boss is set to finish his Dublin stint with a final gig tomorrow night, but he made the most of his day off in Dublin on Saturday.

Having been spotted enjoying a tipple in random pubs in Kildare at the end of last week, he returned to his favourite Dublin pub - The Long Hall on South Great George's Street - for a wee nip.

The pub posted a picture of Springsteen at the bar with another 'regular', with fans seen clamouring at the window outside in a bid to get a glimpse of the American superstar.

As is the norm after a few pints, he then made his way to Leo Burdock's at Christchurch for some fish and chips. Springsteen had previously visited the famous chipper on a Dublin visit years ago.

And the staff were either expecting him, or he brought a vinyl along with him - either way, they now have a signed copy of his 'Only the Strong Survive' album.

Where might be pop up today? On the Viking Splash tour? Hanging out with Miggeldy at the Aras? Swimming in the Forty Foot? Stranger things have happened.
