Britney Spears is back in the studio this week to work on the follow up to 2008's 'Circus'. The pop superstar is reportedly recording a new song with 'Baby One More Time' writer Max Martin and US producer Dr. Luke.
Britney's manager Adam Leber announced via Twitter "Brit is recording a big big BIG new song on Friday with #MaxMartin & @TheDrLuke. I'm pretty sure it's a smash!"
Dr Luke, who's known for his working with Avril Lavigne and Katy Perry, admitted he was slightly intimidated to be working with a star of Britney's calibre.
"She's such an icon, I don't want to let anyone down."
Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter has suggested March 2011 as a possible release date.
