The follow up to Britney Spears' 2008 album 'Circus' has been confirmed for a US release on March 15th, suggesting an Irish release the previous Friday, March 11th.

The news was revealed after a sales solicitation sheet was leaked by Spears' label Jive Records. MTV.com reports that the document revealed that the record, still without a title, will be released in a standard and a deluxe edition, which will include additional liner booklet pages and three or four extra tracks.

Meanwhile, Britney's manager Adam Leber tweeted, "Britney fans should be excited. Album is incredible, video is fire, photoshoot is pure glam. 'Patience' isn't just a great song by Guns N' Roses. All good things to those who wait."

The album's lead single 'Hold It Against Me' is due for release later this month. Britney has just finished filming the video for the song, which the leaked document bills as "a sexy, edgy dance piece directed by Jonas Akerlund and showing Britney at peak form and ability." One photograph has also leaked from the shoot, but gives little away.
