Liam Gallagher is up for it, Noel remains unconvinced - but bookies in the UK are so sure that Oasis will get back together next year, that they've suspended bets on it.

Although the brothers' relationship remains contentious, to say the least - with Liam calling his elder brother a 'potato' on Twitter any chance that he's got - the odds were shortened on a reunion last week and now betting has been completely suspended.

With new documentary 'Supersonic' reviving interest in one of the biggest-ever British bands, it seems as if it's only a matter of time before money talks louder than old grudges.

UK company Betway said: "Our traders were put on red alert after a significant number of maximum stake bets at 5/4 for Oasis to reunite in 2017 were placed. It’s a niche market to bet on, so it was immediately flagged up and the decision to suspend any further betting on the band getting back together was taken.

"If the betting activity has come from sources ‘in the know’, then it would seem we could well be on for an Oasis reunion next year. We’ll now just have to wait and see, and I’m sure there will be millions of fans with their fingers crossed!"
