Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, a musical about the arachnid superhero with original music composed by Bono and The Edge, has had its premiere delayed. The production received less than stellar reports when it made its debut dress rehearsal recently as it was marred by glitches and technical faults. The music too was said to be underwhelming, despite having been worked on over a long period of time by the U2 duo. Cashflow issues are said to be to blame for the musical's delay, the fourth such delay of that kind. Not too surprising, since this is the costliest musical in Broadways long history. Time will tell whether they'll iron out the glitches for when it does finally get launched, or if this will go down as a big (and terribly expensive) mistake.
