Oxegen 09 have nabbed Blur for an exclusive Irish show, their first in this country since 2003, just before they took their five year hiatus to pursue vastly successful solo projects.
They've recently sold out two gigs at London's Hyde Park for the beginning of July, selling 110,000 tickets in just two minutes. If that's anything to go by, the demand for this year's Oxegen festival in Punchestown will be huge, especially since they're joining Kings of Leon, Snow Patrol, Bloc Party, The Script and Katy Perry (The Killers also rumoured) on the weekend's already massive line-up.
Pre-sale tickets are available for registered Oxegen.ie users from Wednesday 5th of February at 8am, while tickets go on general release on Friday March 6th at 8am
