In one of this week's more random pieces of news, The Black Lips are set to record a song with the niece of Osama Bin Laden. Wafah Dufour, the daughter of Osama's half brother Yeslam, first met the Atlanta indie punks at a concert in the U.S. She then made a point of going to see them in London and offered their manager her talents as a singer.

One has to wonder if the exposure her celebrity status has more to do with this collaboration that musical affinity as guitarist Cole Alexander told NME "She's a fan and has aspirations to be a musician." He also stated that he would like to hear Bin Laden's opinion on the results and may even use a sample of his favourite artist, Whitney Houston, to increase the likelihood of him listening to it. There's something creepy and a little wrong with this scenario.
